We have had a busy week, between some preparation for the SAT which many of us are taking next Saturday and the introduction of our new unit on identity. I am also looking forward to reading second drafts of your college essays.

Reminder that essays on First They Killed My Father (part two of the summer reading assessment) are due on Monday.

We will continue to discuss strategies for "Writing on Demand" for the next few days, and I am very much looking forward to introducing our first novel for the year on Monday, Snow Falling on Cedars.
