Week of May 8th

Just a few weeks to go, I can hardly believe how little time we have left! Here is what this week will look like:

Monday ... Finish reading "MASTER HAROLD" ... and the boys (this is how Athol Fugard wrote the title of the play ... very interesting) and discuss. Extra credit writing assignment explained.
Tuesday ... Today we will have a "press conference" to share and get feedback on our research papers. Rough drafts are due today, to be handed in.
Wednesday ... Jamele Malik Adams will be our guest poet. Come to class as quickly as possible and we will head up to the school committee room together. Reminder: We will be taking third lunch today.
Thursday ... Peer editing on research papers.
Friday ... Class does not meet today.

Final drafts of research papers are due next Tuesday so do not delay. I have conference times available after school every day this week, sign up on my door. If that isn't a good time for you, email me your questions or let's schedule something before school instead. Don't wait!
